Frequently Asked Questions |
|
1. What do we do?
We do ONLY clearing and grubbing. No grading or site work.

|
2. What is the average cost to clear an acre?
Clearing
prices vary dramatically. Because they vary so much, we look at every
job. It depends on the terrain, whether it's dry or swampy, dense woods
or light woods, where it is and time of year. It also depends on whether
it's a burn job or a grind job. So please call us to inquire further.

|
3.
Will we clear a lot to build a home?
Our typical
job is 20+ acres. Most of our recycling customers clear lots for homes
and we can refer you to some reputable ones, so please contact us.

|
4.
Are we available for road maintenance?
We are not
equipped to do snow plowing or roadside mowing. We typically bid on road
projects that include widening of existing roadways and upgrading
interchanges.

|
5.
Where do we travel?
We
routinely travel the Mid-Atlantic States but most of our work keeps us
in Virginia.

|
6.
Do we rent equipment and operators?
We have
rented our equipment with or without operators but it doesn't happen
often, as we utilize our equipment on a regular basis on our own
jobsites.

|
7.
How much is it to grind by the hour?
A lot depends on the material being ground among other things, but it
could start at $400. per hour. Again, please call for pricing.
